This Priorat red offers an enticing nose of wild berries and dark fruit, complemented by nuanced hints of tobacco and gentle smoke. On the palate, it is rich and complex, with flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry, and elderberry, and a long, mineral-driven finish that reflects the region’s distinctive llicorella slate soils.
Serve slightly below room temperature to highlight its vibrant fruit and balanced structure. Pair with grilled lamb chops, roasted red meats, mushroom risotto, or hearty Spanish-style stews. Mature hard cheeses such as Manchego also make an excellent accompaniment.
