Albret La Loma Garnacha
Garnacha (Grenache) is often used as a blending partner with Tempranillo in a lot of Spanish wines, however these days, you see an increasing amount of single varietal bottles being produced.
This particular Garnacha from Navarra is a great, expressive red wine. It’s rich in alcohol and full bodied but yet has ripe fruit aromas such as black cherry and forest fruits. Four months in new French oak barrels give it a soft vanillas spice which help bring out the tannins in the wine.
This is a young Garnacha which will age for up to 5/6 years. We would recommend drinking it now.
Food Pairing: Game, roast beef
