Beaune Clos Des Ursules 2004
Purchased in 1826, the Clos de Ursules vineyard is the oldest of the Louis Jadot estate. The 2004 Clos des Ursules 1er Cru is silky, smooth and elegant with great suppleness. It’s a fantastic example of Burgundy red wine.
2004 was a good year for Burgundy, as it produced some amazing reds. However 2005, across the board was exceptional. This drove the price of the 2004 vintages down. That’s why we’re selling this exceptional bottle for less than £50! It truly is a fantastic bargain.
This beautiful red is perfectly balanced. The elegance of the Pinot Noir grape works harmoniously with delicate meat dishes. It is fine with a slightly earthy bouquet and long, lush finish.
