Les 7 Lieux Saint Joseph

Domaine des Amphores are a family owned winery, based in Saint Joseph in the Northern Rhone. Veronique and Philippe Grenier inherited 0.5ha of vineyard from Philippe’s grandfather in 1992. Since then, they have grown and expanded their plantings and became biodynamic & organically certified since 2002. 

The 2017 Les 7 Lieux Saint Jospeh is a phenomenal wine, made from 100% Syrah grapes harvested from 50 year old vines and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. 

Expect a rich noses, full of brilliantly balanced aromas such as violet, raspberry and sweet. Upon taste, the wine has substantial body, subtle tannins that tenderly coat the mouth. This is a great wine that is drinking well now but also has great ageing potential for the next five years.
