Grey Friars Blanc de Noirs

Want to try an exceptional ENGLISH sparkling wine for a reasonable price? Well look no further. Grey Friars vineyards in Surrey have been producing wine since 1989, but a change in ownership in 2010 dramatically changed Grey Friars and put it on the map as one of England’s premium sparkling producers.

This Blanc de Noir is a combination of the 2014 and 2015 vintages and it spent 30 months ageing on its lees. Released in March 2019, this is a wonderfully complex traditional method sparkling with notes of honeyed apple, red berries, brioche and creamy butter. 

Only 3800 bottles of this were produced, so it’s extremely small batch. We’re very lucky to have got our hands on a few bottles!
