TASTING NOTES & IDEAL PAIRINGS
The wine shows a deep ruby‑black colour with a narrow purple rim. On the nose, there’s pure, vibrant red fruit – cranberry, raspberry and cherry – along with plum, apricot, black pepper, nutmeg, mocha, cedar wood and subtle balsamic herbs. The palate is voluptuous: dense, mouth‑filling tannins provide firmness, while a luscious coulis of black woodland fruit builds into a long, sophisticated finish.
Enjoy it decanted with richly flavoured blue cheeses like Stilton or Gorgonzola, or pair it with a fine dark chocolate dessert. It’s a serious after‑dinner wine – ideal for slow contemplation or celebration.
