François Lurton Mas Janeil Le Petit Pas

This red blend comes from the Mas Janeil estate in the heart of the Agly Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon. The vineyards sit on steep, limestone- and schist-rich slopes, giving the wine a strong sense of place. Winemaking focuses on gentle extraction and balanced maturation, combining concrete vats with barrel ageing to preserve fresh fruit and Mediterranean character.

TASTING NOTES & IDEAL PAIRINGS

Bright dark fruit – red berries and black cherry – meets spicy notes and a hint of garrigue on the nose. The palate is soft and silky at first, then builds with smooth, well-integrated tannins and a lingering finish of red fruit, spice and delicate smoke.

This wine pairs beautifully with Provençal dishes: roast lamb, herby stews, grilled vegetables or slow-cooked chicken. It also works well with rustic pasta, charcuterie or smoky sausages.
