Regis Barolo

Barolo is one of those styles of wine that just has everything. It’s got pronounced tannins, yet it’s so texturally delicate that it almost confuses your taste buds. How can something so rich be so light at the same time? That’s the beauty of Barolo and the Nebbiolo grape. Don’t expect it to be abundantly berry-like in taste, it’s way past that. Expect tertiary notes of leather, tobacco, dried tea leaves with some hints of raspberry and rose petal. Three years minimum ageing helps add to the structure and complexity, making this wine a pure joy to drink.
