TASTING NOTES & IDEAL PAIRINGS
This Sauvignon Blanc opens with expressive aromas of lime zest, passionfruit, gooseberry and fresh herbs. On the palate you’ll find juicy tropical and citrus fruit flavours – grapefruit, lime and passionfruit – balanced by crisp acidity and a clean, zesty finish. Subtle herbal and grassy notes add freshness and depth, making the wine both lively and elegant.
Thornbury pairs exceptionally well with fresh seafood such as oysters, mussels, and grilled fish, as well as light salads, fresh vegetables, goat’s cheese, or dishes with herbs and citrus. It’s also ideal as a chilled aperitif on a warm day. Best served chilled at around 9–11 °C to highlight its citrus-fruit character and crisp acidity.
